The Donor Portal

The Donor Portal is a hip, cool, & interactive way for PDO donors to not only easily manage their charitable givings, but also get their daily news, & favorite music downloads!

A "Virtual-Dad" (donor) can make sure his "Virtual-Daughter" (recipient) has a warm place to live during the winter months, simply by using PDO to access the actual gas bill of his "virtual daughter's" home and helping to pay the bill with a tax deductible donation via the PDO charity transaction platform.

You can test the Recipient or Donor Portal prototypes by using the links to left hand side of this page or read the Key Feature content sections below.

"Bridging the Digital Divide"

The Recipient Portal was designed from the point of view of a 16 year old, single mother with a low level of literacy.

The viewpoint of this prototype is that of a mother managing donations made towards her child's well being.

The interface is graphical & audible to enable parents with low literacy levels can simply click pictures or even listen to instructions.

 Recipient Portal  Learn

Each relative "anti-poverty function" on the Recipient Portal can be "activated" or "deactivated" dependent of the social welfare needs of each individual Recipient in the PDO database.

In order to activate an "anti-poverty function" on the Recipient Portal, all applicants must submit notarized documentation to prove their current economic social welfare needs as being near or below the poverty line.

Documentation that PDO requires from applicants to prove their impoverished status include, but is not limited to IRS Tax Returns, paycheck stubs, mortgage/lease/utility bills, 3rd party notarized letters (e.g. homeless shelters, health clinics, etc.), Proof of Identity, etc.

PDO verifies all documentation with relative authorities and entities for authenticity, then uploads a scanned image of the document to the applicant's PDO Recipient Profile.

PDO guarantees to the donors on our charity transaction platform that all recipients have been screened & certified as living near or below the poverty line.

Poverty’s Demise .Org represents an immediate “paradigm shift” in social welfare for poor children, in that access to the most vital subsistence support programs such as:

health insurance, food assistance, rent/utility/mortgage assistance,

Can all be accessed from a single online interface that has been designed with graphical & audible features that will allow even very impoverished parents of children with low-literacy levels to become a part of the PDO online giving community.

While providing donation support to our recipients, the PDO “Recipient Portal” also teaches end-users fundamental reading, math, & self management skills.

Because of PDO the vital hours that parents currently spend in multiple offices seeking different social welfare benefits, can be eliminated to allow for poor families with children to enjoy more quality time being together.

In an effort to protect children PDO screens donor account applicants for prior crimes against a minor.

If a potential PDO donor is found to have been convicted of a crime against a minor, the donor applicant is immediately rejected and/or removed from the PDO charity community.

Though the parents of children living in poverty will manage the child’s PDO Recipient Account the true identity & location of the child is automatically protected / withheld from adult donors.

PDO donors and recipients can play online games together, exchange holiday cards, and even have pre-programmed snippet conversations within the PDO online giving community, however PDO’s “double-blind identity” protects the interest and safety of everyone.

Communication filtering technology will be utilized to protect children and donors from any online dangers.

The children on our site will be protected from possible online child predators at all times.

Whereas, the donors will be able to deactivate donations at any time without the fear of unwanted solicitation.

As Poverty's Demise.org ensures that all conversations via our charity platform have nothing stronger than a " G " rating, we also enable donors and children to build personal relationships through the use of greeting cards, games, online snippet chat, photos, & cartoon avatars.

People Helping People

The PDO " Broader Horizons Program " was designed to expand the minds of those born into a life poverty beyond their local boundaries.

Many of the poor are unable to reach their full potential in life simply they the internal belief in themselves to experience and effect change in the world beyond their impoverished existence.

American children are being born into their 2nd, 3rd, 4th generations of poverty, which is fueling the growth of an American underclass.

PDO aims to counteract this by rewarding recipients for their continued display of social responsibility to themselves and others as exemplified in their accumulation of PDO "Oneness Points" with domestic & international eco-minded, travel excursions that they otherwise would not be able to afford.

PDO’s methodology of matching donations to the barcode of social welfare items allows for PDO to observe the eating habits of PDO Recipients and reward them for health conscious & environmentally friendly purchasing decisions via PDO’s “Oneness Point System”

Health Points – are generated each time a recipient uses a donor’s gift of “groceries” to purchase health beneficial food products. (designed to fight obesity)

Eco Points – are generated each time a recipient uses a PDO donor’s gift to purchase environmentally friendly products. .(designed to cultivate consumer demand for “green” products)

As recipient families amass “Oneness Points” they gain access to many PDO rewards, including our flagship reward called “The Broader Horizons Program”.

Poor children that amass enough total “Oneness Points” via the PDO “Broader Horizons Program” will be sent on international cultural exchanges that they otherwise would not be able to afford.

PDO’s “Broader Horizons Program” was designed to show families that have been impoverished for multiple generations that the world can be more than a ghetto.

Other notable PDO Incentives:

“Savings & Tuition Account” deposit matching program between PDO donors & recipients.

Via the “Doctors Visit” program PDO places a financial incentive for parent and child to seek complete health screenings bi-annually as a means of fighting the spread of infectious disease & supply preventive healthcare / advice.

Via the “Good Deeds Accounts” PDO creates a financial incentive for impoverished parents of children to volunteer at local charities to gain work experience, practical skills, and access to a form of “anytime employment” to supplement their incomes without having turn to crime, pornography, or violence.

According to PDO development planning & financial projections, PDO’s corporate partners will sponsor PDO’s Operations Cost, up until 2015 in order to artificially attain a 1 to 1 donation ratio for public donations to poor children. (as illustrated in the following slide)

As PDO revenue generating activities yield increasingly positive Net Operating Profits PDO’s annual corporate support will be scaled back to $0, making PDO a completely neutral and independent entity, while at the same time still allowing 100% of public donations to reach impoverished children

Smart strategy and good management pays PDO’s overhead’s, not your donation & kindness!

Where eBay introduces “Buyers” and “Sellers” to complete online transactions, PDO introduces “Donors” and “Recipients.”

Via a web interface similar to popular online social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, & Hives, a PDO donor can views a “Recipient Profile” of a child living in poverty, then send tax deductible donations directly to the impoverished families via the Internet.

  • 100% of your donations goes DIRECTLY to “Stephanie Weathers” of Carson, Arizona (future veterinarian)

  • 100% of your donations goes DIRECTLY to “Tiffany Myers” of St. Louis, Missouri (future Miss America)

  • PDO uses a "Double-Blind Policy" to enable Donors & Recipients to participate in our online charity community under the guaranteed protection of anonymity. .

Donors create a friendly online persona that Recipients can view to learn everything about a specific Donor, EXCEPT for direct contact information or donor identifiable information.

PDO understands that the needs of donors, just as the needs of any recipients, can change over time.

With the PDO “Double-Blind Identity Protection” policy donors can increase or reduce their periodic giving to charity at any time without worry of unwanted solicitation. .

In the PDO online giving community, donors assume the virtual identities of offline parental guardian figures in order to foster long-term online giving and secure social interactions.

    With PDO a donor can become a “V-dad”, “V-mom”, “V-Uncle”, “V-Niece” and so forth, then virtually adopt a “V-daughter”, “V-son”, “V-niece” etc.

Over time a donor can track their “V-children’s” well-being for as long as they are qualified for PDO’s poverty alleviating programs, all the while sharing photos, playing online games, exchanging holiday greetings, and more.. Just as real families do.

PDO donors can even help start & grow savings accounts and college tuition accounts for their “V-children”.

In addition to being able to quickly & easily support children living in poverty, PDO also enables willing donors to easily manage their planned charitable givings with a simple-to-use charity account.

Donors simply open an account, similar in manner as opening a PayPal account.

Any funds that the donors enters into their PDO donor charity accounts are automatically tax deductible because PDO is a legally registered non-profit corporation in the state of Michigan with pending final 501(C)(3) approval.

Poverty's Demise.org also makes claiming your donations on your taxes simple with our “Print Tax Receipt” function.

During tax season simply click “Print Tax Receipt” and receive a detailed summary of your donations from over the past year already prepared for submittal to the IRS simply review, sign, and send.

A "Virtual-Mom" (donor) can make sure her "Virtual-Daughter" (recipient) has a warm place to live during the winter months, simply by using PDO to access the actual gas bill of her "virtual daughter's" home and helping to pay the bill with a tax deductible donation via the PDO charity transaction platform.

PDO recipients never receive cash donations from donors, instead donations are converted to “universally redeemable electronic gift certificates” or “UREGC” that recipients can redeem for a specific range of items at local businesses such as “food”, “clothing”, “housing / utility assistance”, etc. from PDO’s for-profit and non-profit business partners.

If a donor decides that a $100 cash donation be utilized for food, then the recipient would only be able to get products with “food” related packaging barcodes, excluding items such as illegal drugs, auto parts, etc...
